In ten and half years of being a Councillor, I have never seen so many Feltham North properties on a single Planning Enforcement agenda. I am aware of all the cases but this is an agenda worth sharing.

November 29, 2012Lining works at busy junction
September 27, 2012A couple of months ago, I was requested by a couple to make enquiries about the markings on the junction of Staines Road/Harlington Road West/Faggs Road.
I received the following pictures from TfL yesterday:
The only bit outstanding are the two arrows next to the box junction that indicate where drivers turning right from Staines Road to Faggs Road or Harlington Road West need to be. I have written to TfL about this.
Former Crown & Sceptre Pub
November 14, 2011I have recently received some enquiries about what is happening with regards to the above. My response has been that we are largely dependent on who owns/acquires the land and what planning applications arise.
Here is what I have found.
I have today asked why this has not been determined since it was submitted in February. Reference 1185227.
Over the past few days
April 26, 2010Picked up the following:
1) Highways
Outside 81 Shakespeare Avenue:
Some carriageway defects on the carriageway between 1 Letchworth Avenue and the junction with Bedfont Lane. Examples:
Outside 1 Clymping Dene:
Outside 12 Harlington Road East:
The footway dips at the side of 150 Field Road:
2) Graffiti
Outside 68 Burns Avenue:
Near 211 Staines Road, Feltham:
Bridge over Longford River by Burns Avenue and Ruskin Avenue:
The grass near 1-4 Tennyson Close needs cutting:
I have been told that 8 Shakespeare Avenue is empty and there are items in the garden:
A constituent informed me that there had been a fire in the area and that the fire brigade had to break through barrier. Whilst I have reported this to the correct people, I took a look and the barriers appeared reasonably secure:
5) Items or rubbish on footway
It was Sunday evening so may have been cleared but I noticed:
On Tennyson Close (outside 1 Shakespeare Avenue):
Opposite 105 Shaftesbury Avenue:
On Harlington Road West (side of 27 Hounslow Road):
Things picked up in the past couple of days
April 21, 20101) Graffiti
Outside 10a Stourton Road, Hanworth:
Outside 30 North Hyde Lane, Heston:
83 Staines Road, Feltham:
Outside shop on Cassiobury Avenue and Staines Road junction:
2) Utility box in The Croft (near junction with North Hyde Lane):
Looking at it from the other side but yet another example of them being on top of grass cutting:
The edge of the carriageway in The Alders, Hanworth is bad in many places. Here is an example outside 21-29:
Near shop on Cassiobury Road & Staines Road junction:
Burns Avenue/Harlington Road West junction and between 129 & 131 Harlington Road West:
6) Blocked drain near 40 Faggs Road:
Will report the above, where appropriate later this morning.
Engleheart/Pentelow Gardens 17/04/10
April 19, 201007/04/2010 and 08/04/2010 things picked up
April 8, 2010Feltham North 27/03/10 – Part 2
March 30, 2010Some more pictures from last Saturday:
1) Damaged post in Staines Road
By the junction with Cassiobury Avenue:
2) Feltham Arena carpark
No change here but I have requested that a tidy up of glass and dumped items take place. It is taking time because it is not currently in the contract with Laing/Continental:
I found it strange to see a hose on (picture does not capture clearly but the hose was being used):
Apart from the rubbish, I will try to find out if the mound of earth tarmac needs to be there?
3) Longford River
Again, other than the graffiti, it was not looking bad at all.
The worst bit (and I have certainly seen much worse than this) was around the bench:
Feltham North (things to report) 27/03/10 – part 1
March 28, 20101) Graffiti
83 Staines Road:
Located at entrance to path from Staines Road to Ruskin Avenue (nearest house is 379) – this is previously reported and I will ask why the tagging was not previously cleared:
At shop on Staines Road/Cassiobury Avenue junction:
I posted on Friday about the resurfacing of Staines Road. Here is the worst bit (at junction with Kingston Avenue):
Outside 277 Staines Road. I will see if things appear the same in the next few days:
More to come but I am having technical difficulties.
