West Area Committee Meeting – 1 December 2011

December 3, 2011

I attended my last Council Meeting before Christmas.  Here is the agenda.

A lot of concern was expressed by Councillors regarding the two planning items that came to the Committee for consultation (agenda items 2 & 3).  The main item relevant to Feltham North was agenda item 4.  The people have spoken and therefore a CPZ will not be extended to include Mill Way, River Gardens, Roman Close and The Vale.

The highlight of the night was Agenda item 9.  The Headteacher at Feltham Community College has impressed many people and the improvements at the school have been stunning!

Branches need cutting back

I was walking through River Gardens on Friday and noticed the following overgrowth near the river (and next to number 16):

Will report today.

Duke of Northumberland (at River Gardens)

April 25, 2010

At our stall in Hounslow West yesterday afternoon, I met a very nice couple who recently went for a walk in at the above river.  He informed me about the condition and kindly sent me some pictures.

Not a Council matter to resolve but I will report this to the Rivers Authority.  It needs a response and hopefully quick attention.

The latest Half Year Report – out and about today

July 19, 2008

Please let me know if you comments about the content or anything you would like to have seen in it.  I have been out and about most of today (nice day for it) and have delivered to Buckingham Avenue, Rosslyn Avenue, Lansbury Avenue, Harlington Road West, Clymping Dene, Walsham Road, The Vale, Mill Way, Roman Close, River Gardens, plus sections of Hounslow Road & Staines Road.

As usual, I have taken my camera out with me in case there is anything I need to report.  Taken some already and will post a selection later.
