I received a response to the Feltham North leaflet from one of the tenants at the above.  I am very concerned to hear about the recycling problems that they have been having for the past few months.  An enquiry will be made by me first thing in the morning.

Two repeat problems today.  No collections of garden waste at one property in Harlington Road West and no collection sacks delivered to a number of houses in Hounslow Road.  As you would expect, complaints have been made earlier today.

Only made aware of one problem in Walsham Road as part of the previous collection.  Don’t forget, any missed collections, please report here!  Please also let me know the reference number.

The amount of problems with collections in Feltham North are decreasing but in the last week I have been informed of problems in Walsham Road and Hounslow Road.  Ongoing problems in Harlington Road West did not reoccur today.

Should anyone have any missed collections, I would recommend that they report it here and let me know the reference number.

Not received one email about collections this week.  Will be interesting to see the position in 24 hours time.

Recycling

This week I am away with the family in the Cayman Islands (where my wife is from originally).  Anyone who knows me will tell you that I have terrible withdrawl symptons when not using email so I have been checking (less frequently than usual) thus far.  The main issues being raised with me is the unacceptable performance of the recycling service in the past couple of weeks.  It is a problem throughout the Borough and I know that the Lead Member, Barbara Reid, is working very very hard to address the matter.  This article is interesting.

If you have a missed collection, it is terribly important that you report it here.

What has amazed me whilst in the Cayman Islands is just how much recycling is in its infancy.  Even the glass bottles are not recycled.
