I have received the following today:
“We have been advised that Scottish & Southern Electric need to install a new electricity cable on A244 Hounslow Road between its junctions with Hanworth Road and New Road – over the railway bridge.
Due to the narrowness of the road between these junctions it will be necessary to switch off the existing traffic signals at the Hounslow Road/Hanworth Road junction and set up temporary lights in their place with shuttle working past the works. In order to minimise the disruption to traffic, which these works are likely to cause, we have requested for the works to be carried out over night between the hours of 8pm and 6am on a weekday, or to 9am on the weekend. The contractor has been instructed to keep noise to a minimum during unsociable hours (after 11pm).
The works are due to start on the evening of the 23 March and to be completed by 7 April.”
