Look out in High Street, Cranford

An interesting feature.  My friend, Shafick, is standing in front of it:

  1. Mark Savage Says:

Did you know this used to be the village cell, Mark, where the ne’er do wells of the area were locked up to punish them and keep them out of the village’s hair.
I wonder if something similar would be a useful feature in Feltham High Street today- far more visible than cells in a police station!

Only thing is Mark you couldn’t build enough of them …mind you a good set of sturdy stocks would be useful as well, and a dunking stool on the pond , and…… sorry getting carried away.
